Owen went home to Jesus on October 19, 2025, at the age of 6 years old. He was born on February 27, 2019, in Delta where he lived all his life.
Owen was in 1st Grade and his favorite subject was math. He enjoyed playing soccer, football, and baseball and had just started karate. Owen loved Jesus, life on the farm, spending time with family, snacks, and digging in the dirt. He was fearless, determined, passionate, silly, and a little warrior. He enjoyed watching Curious George and Bluey with his brother, his best friend and partner in crime. Owen loved the outdoors and had an adventurous spirit. Owen wanted to be an NFL football player, rancher, and police officer when he grew up.
Owen is survived by his parents, Colby and Tegan Hines, brother, Dylan Hines and numerous family and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, October 24th, at 10 AM at Rivers Church followed by graveside services at Delta Cemetery and lunch for the family at Rivers Church. Please wear your favorite jersey to honor Owen's great love of sports.
