Owen R. Ziegler was born on March 18, 1933, to Rueben and Mary Ziegler in Rehrersburg, PA. He was the second youngest of eleven children. He met his high school sweetheart LuluBelle, and they married in 1953. They had four children: Deborah J., Rodney O., Lorna K., and Brian L. (dec.).
After living on the Ziegler Farmstead in Bethel, PA, they moved to Philadelphia where Owen was a driver and driving instructor for Continental Trailways bus company for many years. Owen drove over a million miles in his driving career with Trailways, tractor trailers and finally as a corporate chauffeur.
Owen was known as a husband, Dad, Daddy, Pop, Pop Pop, as well as a brother, uncle, and friend. He was known for having endless stories to tell anyone in his presence.
Beyond the love of his life, LuluBelle, he loved his family without question. If someone needed anything fixed, Owen was always ready to lend a hand. He also enjoyed jigsaw puzzles and tending to his lawn and roses.

(Arthur), six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, a sister: Ruth Patterson and many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by a son: Brian L. (Denise -dec.), a grandson: Jeremy and sisters: Viola, Verna, Mildred, and brothers: Carl, A. Wayne, Elam, Woodrow, D. Webster, and Harold.
