Ozell Carr

Ozell Daniel Carr, 98, passed away on Tuesday, May 6th 2025 in Las Vegas. Ozell was born in McNeal Arkansas to Daniel Napoleon Carr and Della Johnson on January 21,1927.

Ozell attended Yerger School in Hope Arkansas, and became a carpenter by trade. He served in the Army during the Korean war and was honorably discharged.

Ozell is preceded in death by his third wife Clara Carr, His eldest daughter Brenda Garrett, and Eldest son Ozell Daniel Carr II.

Ozell is survived by his daughter Pamela Carr-Kizer, eldest granddaughter Dr. Natasha Sconiers, grandsons Jeffrey Garrett, Andy Garrett, Armando Carr, Jermaine Carr, youngest granddaughter Schurese Garrett, great grandchildren Paige Vukovich, Peyton Vukovich, Zi’Air Garrett, Brooklyn Carr and Beverly Ozell Carr.

Visitation will be held at 10:00am, Monday, June 2nd at Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial prior to funeral service that will immediately follow. A burial will take place at Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery to conclude Ozell’s time of remembrance.

Ozell transitioned to the Father surrounded by love, family and music. The family of Ozell Daniel Carr wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Prestige Assisted Living, the Bridge at Paradise Valley along with all of the loving caretakers who treated and visited Ozell during his later years and final moments.
