Pablo A. Bazan, age 91, a lifelong resident of Bishop, Texas, passed away peacefully on June 17, 2025, surrounded by his loved ones.
Born on June 11, 1934, in Kingsville, Texas, Pablo was the beloved son of Severo and Petra Bazan. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend whose quiet strength and gentle spirit left a lasting impact on all who knew him.
Pablo was a retired painter and formerly served as a maintenance supervisor with Congressional Corp. A man of deep faith, he was a dedicated member of Tempo Betel Assembly of God Church, where he faithfully served as an usher for many years. In his leisure time, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, and working on automobiles - hobbies that reflected his love for the outdoors and his natural talent for fixing things with patience and care.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Maria Inelda Bazan; his daughter, Sarita Maza; his son, Alexander Bazan; his brother, Daniel Bazan; and his sisters, Anita Muniz and Graciela Garza.
Left to cherish his memory are his five daughters: San Juanita (Gilbert) Reyna, Sonia Cordova, Sylvia (Daniel) Leal, Susie (David) Moya, and Melissa (Dionicio) Perez; five sons: Alfredo (Amelia) Bazan, Juan Luis (Esmeralda) Bazan, Pablo Bazan Jr. (Barbara), Aaron J. Bazan (Patsy), and Isaias (Jennifer) Bazan; two brothers, Mario Bazan, and Heriberto Bazan; four sisters, Elvira Rodriguez, Yolanda (Juan) Padilla, Linda Reyes, and Debbie Barrera. He also leaves behind thirty-six grandchildren, fifty-seven great-grandchildren, twelve great-great-grandchildren, several cousins, and numerous nieces and nephews - all of whom he loved deeply and who brought him great pride and joy.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 19, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home, with a religious service at 7:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will take place on Friday, June 20, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home, officiated by Pastor Daniel Jimenez. Interment will follow at Santa Gertrudis Memorial Cemetery.
Pablo's legacy of faith, hard work, and devotion to family will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
