Pablo "Paul" Castillo Jr.

Pablo Paul Castillo Jr. of Port Lavaca, Texas was born on September 30, 1959. He passed away on February 21, 2026 in the presence of his wife, Norma Castillo. He was born in Port Lavaca, Texas, 1 of 8 siblings.

In 1978 he married his wife, Norma. They resided in Seadrift until 1983 before moving to Port Lavaca, Texas where they raised their 2 sons.

Paul was a hardworking resident of the community with his own roofing business for over 30 years. On his days off, Paul would be found working outside, always finding something to do. He was a strong man who spent his life caring for his family.

Paul could always be found helping others and always had a joke to make those around him laugh. He lit up every room he walked into and will be missed greatly by many.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Pablo Castillo Sr. and Tomasa V. Castillo, his brother Robert Castillo, and his sisters Gloria Salazar and Lupe Ozuna.

He is survived by his wife Norma Castillo, his sons Paul Castillo III of Port Lavaca and Brandon Castillo Sr. of Port Lavaca, his sisters Maria Martinez of San Antonio and Esther Madden of Victoria, his brothers Richard Castillo of Port Lavaca and Ray Castillo of Seadrift, his grandchildren Andrie Flores, Brandon Castillo Jr., Brendan Castillo Sr., Kira Castillo, Ann Marie Castillo, Paul Castillo IIII, and his great grandchildren Alaïa Castillo, Archer Flores, Brendan Castillo Jr., and Jovi Castillo.

Visitation will begin on Tuesday, March 3, 2026 from 12:00PM – 1:00PM with a rosary to be recited at 1:00PM and Chapel Service to follow at 2:00PM at Grace Funeral Chapel in Port Lavaca with Deacon John Durant to officiate. A reception will follow for family and friends.
