Pablo Cesar Garcia, age 50, of Scottsbluff, Nebraska, died Saturday, August 23, 2025, at Regional West Medical Center in Scottsbluff. A funeral service will be held at noon, Friday, August 29, 2025, at Templo La Hermosa, 1411 14th Avenue, Scottsbluff. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Scottsbluff. Visitation will take place from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., Thursday, August 28, 2025, at Reverence Funeral Parlor in Scottsbluff. Memorials may be made in care of the family. The service will be live-streamed and recorded on Cesar’s obituary page viewable at www.reverencefuneralparlor.com.
Cesar was born in Francisco I. Madero, Coahuila, Mexico to Jose Angel Garcia and Marta Soto de Garcia on June 13, 1975. The family moved from Mexico to California, Nebraska, and Texas, before returning to Nebraska, where Cesar attended Bayard High School.
He worked in construction and remodeling, specializing in drywall installation. Cesar also did various carpentry work alongside his brothers over the years.
He met Debbie Garcia in 1997, and the couple married on May 1, 2012, in Scottsbluff. They made a home together, along with their two sons, settling in Gering in 2021.
Cesar was a member of Templo La Hermosa Church in Scottsbluff. He enjoyed camping, target shooting, attending family events, playing golf, watching movies, and grilling for his family. He was a football fan, especially of the Texas Longhorns and San Francisco 49ers. His favorite soccer team was Santos Laguna. Cesar occasionally liked watching baseball league games as well. He loved to travel to various places, including visits to see family in Mexico.
Cesar was a wonderful friend and greatly loved by his family. He never hesitated to lend a helping hand to someone in need. He will be deeply missed by many who knew him.
Survivors include his beloved wife, Debbie Garcia; sons, Angel B. Garcia and Daniel B. Garcia; parents, Jose and Marta Garcia; siblings, Jorge (Maribel) Garcia of Coahuila, Mexico, Carlos Garcia (Alma Lozano) of Colorado, Guillermo (Esthela) Peralta Garcia of Aguascalientes, Mexico and Roberto (Veronica) Garcia of Scottsbluff, Nebraska; along with extended family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents; and younger brother, Miguel Angel Garcia in 2024.
Pablo César García, de 50 años, de Scottsbluff, Nebraska, murió el sábado 23 de agosto de 2025 en el Centro Médico Regional West en Scottsbluff. Se llevará a cabo un servicio fúnebre al mediodía del viernes 29 de agosto de 2025 en el Templo La Hermosa en Scottsbluff. El entierro seguirá en el cementerio Fairview en Scottsbluff.
