Pamela Lockard Jones, 64, of Hixson, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family and friends after a long battle with dementia, on Sunday, Sept. 7, 2025
Pam married her high school sweetheart, Greg Jones. She was a strong Christian and dedicated her life to helping others while sharing the love of Jesus Christ. She attended Abba's House and served in the Kid's Ministry for 26 years. She started her career as a Dental Hygienist but shortly after giving birth to her first child she became a full-time Mom.
She was preceded in death by her father, Don Lockard; sister, Kathi Webb; and son, Matthew Jones.
She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Greg; mother, Eleanor Lockard; brother, Don (Leslie) Lockard, Jr.; daughter, Meghan (Will) Tholken; son, Michael (Caitlin) Jones; son, Mitchell (Maegan) Jones; grandchildren, Edward and Ellery Tholken, Indie Jones, and Ivy Jones. Pam was also actively involved in raising her nieces, Sarah Jones, Missi Shelton, Summer Schmitt, Kristin Renfro,Ashley Hutcheson, and great nieces Kaylee Cook, Zoe McGlamery, and Cheyenne Hutcheson.
The Celebration of Pam's Life will have a gathering of friends and family from 1pm to 4pm with the Service to follow on Saturday, Sept. 13th, at Abba's House with Pastor Ken Hartley officiating.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial contributions may be made in Pam's memory to Hospice of Chattanooga.
