Pamela Nicole Braxton Whitley

It is with deep sorrow and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Pamela Nicole Braxton Whitley (Nikki) who left this world far too soon on Friday, July 18, 2025 at the age of 44.
Born on December 4, 1980, Nikki brought light, laughter, and love into every life she touched. Her vibrant spirit, kind heart, and contagious smile made the world a brighter place. Whether she was offering a helping hand, making others laugh, or simply being present, Nikki had a way of making people feel seen, loved, and valued.
She was a mother, daughter, niece, cousin, and friend-but more than that, she was a beacon of hope and joy to those who knew her. She enjoyed decorating her home for all holidays, lived each day to the fullest, enjoyed being a softball team mom, but most of all her time with her daughter was her most precious possession.
Though her time with us was short, her impact was profound. She will be remembered for her kindness, and her unwavering love for her family and friends.
She is survived by her daughter, Payton Whitley of the home, mother and father, Linwood and Betty Braxton of Washington NC. She is also survived by her Uncle, Thurman Braxton of Chocowinity, NC and her Aunt, Karen Braxton Shearouse of Goldsboro, NC.
She is also survived by several cousins, David Braxton, Christy Moye, Tonya Gruenwald, Jenny Burke, Jeffery Taylor, Walter Taylor, Joey Pinkham and Troy Pinkham. She is survived by her precious dog, Piper.
A Visitation will be held at Joseph B. Paul Jr. Funeral Service on Monday, July 21, 2025 from 6:00-8:00pm. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the chapel at Joseph B. Paul Jr. Funeral Service on Tuesday, July 22, 2025 at 2:00pm.
In our hearts forever, Nikki, you will never be forgotten.
