Pamela Denise Broadwater

Pamela Denise Broadwater, 63, of Syracuse,New York, peacefully passed away on March 21, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family. Born on July 29, 1962, Savannah, Georgia, Pamela carried the warmth, strength, and grace of her Southern roots with her throughout her life. At the age of 7, she relocated with her family to Syracuse, New York, where she attended Onondaga County public schools and later graduated from Corcoran High School. Syracuse became her lifelong home-a place where she built a life rooted in love, resilience, and deep family bonds.

Pamela was a beautiful soul whose light could brighten any room. She had a deep love for music and dancing-whether playing her favorite songs or moving joyfully to her own rhythm, she brought life, laughter, and energy wherever she went. Her smile was radiant, her laughter unforgettable, and her presence brought comfort to all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her beloved grandmother, Mamie Broadwater; her brother, Jeffrey Broadwater Sr; and her aunt, Delores Broadwater.

Pamela leaves behind her loving parents, Eugene and Catherine Broadwater, who cherished her dearly. She is lovingly remembered by her children:Shamara, Khadijah, Queen (Chris), Fuquan (Kassandra), and Prophet; & also her devoted significant other, Dennis Housley; and her treasured grandchildren: Shamara's children: De'Andre, Dai'Vion, Dre'Mar, and Ky'Ani Khadijah's children: Da'Mari and Nuriyah Queen's children: Nashylah, Sa'Maraya, Levii, Melani, and Reign Fuquan's children: Averyona, Kay'dence, Sy'lias, and Lah'niah Prophet's child: Neveah Pamela also leaves behind a host of extended family members and dear friends who will forever hold her memory close to their hearts. Above all, Pamela's greatest joy was her family.

She was a devoted and loving mother and an incredibly proud grandmother who poured her heart into every moment spent with her children and grandchildren. She gave unconditional love, guidance, and strength, always making sure her family felt supported and deeply cared for. Though she is no longer with us in body, Pamela's love, spirit, and light will forever remain in the hearts of all who loved her.
