Pamela “Chris” Christine Howey, 66, of Fremont, OH passed away surrounded by her family on December 21, 2024 at Bethesda Care Center. Chris was born on August 21, 1958 to Thomas and Ramona (Bailey) May in Port Clinton, OH. She was a 1976 graduate of St. Joseph Catholic High School. Chris married Arthur Howey Sr. on June 7, 1980 in Fremont and he survives.
Chris was an office manager for the family business May Painting for over twenty-five years until she retired. She enjoyed gardening, trips to the Amish Country, genealogy, crosswords and spending time with her grandchildren. She was known for her festive holiday gatherings. Chris was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Fremont.
Chris is survived by her husband of forty-four years, Arthur “Art” Howey Sr.; children, Adam Howey and Bonnie Mominee both of Fremont; stepsons, Ken (Tulin) Howey, Phoenix, AZ, Art Howey Jr. Fremont, OH; grandchildren, Zoe Kaczmarek, Amelia Bergefurd, Victoria Kaczmarek, Delaney Mominee Josh Howey, Lisa (Adam) Lowery; siblings, Catherine Wildman, Timothy (Merry) May and best friend of sixty years Laurie Fisher.
She is preceded in death by her parents, sister Cynthia Parker and stepson, Randy Beckley.
A graveside service will take place on Saturday, January 18, 2025 at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph Cemetery, Cleveland Ave, Fremont, OH 43420.
Memorials can be made in Chris’s honor to donor’s choice.
