Obituary for Pamela Denice Exline
March 7, 1955 - September 30, 2025
With deep love and heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Pamela Denice Exline, who departed this life peacefully at her home in Lakeside, Arizona, on September 30, 2025, at the age of 70.
Pamela was born on March 7, 1955, in Ray, Arizona, to Richard and Goldena (Gregg) Blakeman. She grew up in the Ray School District and graduated from Coolidge High School in 1973. Driven by a deep passion for helping others, she pursued her nursing education at Phoenix College, earning an RN in Nursing. She was honored to study under the esteemed Dr. Detric-an incredibly rare opportunity as one of only six people in the world chosen for this privilege.
Throughout her impactful career, Pamela served at Florence Hospital, Hoemako, Banner and CCA Hospitals. Her roles included Hospital Administrator, manager for ICU CCU cardiopulmonary rehab telemetry in the Emergency Room, Emergency Room Supervisor/Manager, dialysis trainer, and, later, a vital presence in Quality Improvement and Patient Advocacy/Case Management. She proudly became the last person to hold the position in Quality Improvement before her retirement, leaving a legacy of excellence and compassion.
Those who knew Pamela will remember her as the sweetest, kindest, most gentle soul-a woman whose humor, intelligence, and tender heart touched everyone she encountered. She had a remarkable ability to make others feel seen and cared for. She loved to laugh, tell stories, read, and, as many know, she had a well-known love for shopping.
Above all, Pamela was a devoted mother and grandmother. Her daughter, Amber Denae' (Lucas) Guy, was her world, and her grandchildren-Thaddeus Coryell, Eve Guy, Breanna Guy, Axel Guy, and Everest Exline-were the absolute lights of her life. They brought her endless joy and filled her days with love.
Pamela is survived by her loving parents, Richard and Goldena Blakeman; her siblings, Gerald (Jerry) Blakeman and Leona Dorene Figueroa; her daughter, Amber Denae' (Lucas) Guy; her bonus son, Dana Mark Exline, Jr.; and her cherished grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her uncles, Ray Jackson and Darryl "Sam" Lindsey, and her cousin, Cassius Matthews.
A memorial service to celebrate Pamela's life will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, November 1, 2025, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1555 N Colorado Street, Casa Grande, Arizona 85122.
Pamela's life was a gift to all who knew her. Her legacy of love, strength, and compassion will continue to live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
