Pamela Ann Glidewell

Pamela Ann Bacci Glidewell passed away peacefully on November 2nd, 2025, with her family by her side.

Born in Louisville on January 13th, 1948, she was the beloved daughter of David Joseph and Margaret Ora Bacci. Pam grew up in Louisville alongside her four younger siblings. She was a graduate of St. John Vianney, Holy Rosary Academy and Spencerian College. Pam was an executive secretary and also worked in retail at O.G. Wilson (with her dad), Bacon's and Target. Her Target family had a special place in her heart having worked there for over 30 years. Pam simply loved life. She was the magic and joy of every holiday. Her laughter and sense of humor were contagious. Easter Sunday was her favorite celebration since she was little, and she made it special for her family in a thousand ways.

She never missed a family celebration no matter how small or failed to send cards for special occasions or no occasion at all. She made everyone feel special. She loved her family endlessly as we all loved her. She was the heart of her home and celebrated 55 years of marriage with her loving husband, Larry, on October 24th. Her children and grandchildren were her heart and joy. She made them a beautiful home filled with warmth, love, good food and a yard full of beautiful flowers, which brought her great happiness. She had a soft spot for all animals and fed every stray cat that found her home, with kindness and love. They will miss her.

Along with her husband Larry, Pam is survived by her children, Damian Wisman (Aaron), Matthew (Kim) and Andrew; grandchildren, Ella and Sam Wisman and Kaylee Glidewell; siblings, Joe Bacci (Margaret), Carla Owen (Rick Wethington), Martine Siegel and Tracey Bacci. She is also survived by her beloved nieces and nephews, Gina, Anthony, Meredith (David) and Lynn Bacci; Chrisi Bohannon (Brad) and David Owen; Nicholas (Cierra), Benjamin (Mollie), Joseph and Maria Siegel Oliva (Arthur); her great nieces and nephews; mother-in-law, Jean Glidewell; brother-in-law, Daniel Glidewell (Luann); and sister-in-law, Brenda Woosley (Joe).

Pam was preceded in death by her parents; brothers-in-law, Jim Owen and Tony Siegel; great nephew, Logan Bohannon; and father-in-law, Delmer Glidewell.

Life will never be the same without her generosity, kindness and humor (and holiday hats which we will continue to wear). She will be always loved and never forgotten.

A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, 7813 Shelbyville Road, on Saturday, November 15th, at 10:00 am, with visitation from 9:00-10:00 am at the church. Burial of cremains will follow at Calvary Cemetery where Pam will be buried with her family.
