Phyllis Jean "Miller" Bacigalupi

Phyllis Jean Bacigalupi passed away November 6, 2025, with her children by her side.

Born in Louisville on February 12, 1936. Phyllis married the love of her life Charles (Baci) Bacigalupi. They were married for 34 years on this earth, but forever in her heart. She was a loving wife and mother. Her workplace was her home. She was a dedicated mom providing a home full of LOVE, after-school snacks, daily hot meals, and the very best desserts, but most importantly she was ALWAYS present for her children providing them guidance and comfort.

After the death of her husband and the inevitable time of an empty nest she began volunteer work. She worked to support families in need at Fairdale Area Ministry. She volunteered her time at her parish church, St. Jerome (St. Teresa of Calcutta). When she was not volunteering her time, she was spoiling her grandson, Dominic. Every chance she had she told the story of how his grandpa sent him to her. He was her "Angel Boy".

Phyllis is survived by her children, Ron Bacigalupi, Susan Bacigalupi Stayton (Terry) Denise Bacigalupi, and Denis Bacigalupi. Her grandson Dominic Bacigalupi (Megan). Her brothers Larry Miller, and Don Miller (Kaye)

Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Charles (Baci) Bacigalupi, and her sister Barbara Roberts.

Phyllis's wishes will be honored with having only a Mass without visitation time. The Mass will be November 12th at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 501 Cherrywood Road at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
