CELEBRATING
The Life & Legacy
Pamela Claudette Brazeal Gonzalez, entered into the presence of the Lord on January 21, 2025 surrounded by her family at a local hospital. Pamela was the only girl out of six boys born to the late John Wesley and Claudia (Walton) Brazeal, Sr., on April 18, 1962. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Kennard Brazeal, niece, Angelisha Jones. Pamela was a faithful servant of the Lord where she was baptized as an infant at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church. Pamela served faithfully starting at an early age in the Youth Choir, later serving as Youth Counselor, Youth Choir Director, the Lutheran Women Missionary League (LWML), the Gospel Chorus, Anniversary Committee, among many other civic and social organizations. She was one of the original members of the Trinity Garden Community Parade. Pam as she was affectionately called, was a former employee of Just 4 Developmetal Laboratory, Glendale Elementary, and Brazier Elementary with Mobile County Public School System, she was currently employed with the City of Mobile for over 20 years before her untimely death, where she started off as an After School Facilitator, before becoming a Rec Leader at Connie Hudson Mobile Regional Senior Community Center Foundation.
Pamela leaves to cherish her amazing legacy, her loving and devoted husband, Albino Gonzalez, Mobile, AL; her three loving and devoted daughters, Sanavieai Brazeal, SC, Sharricka Brazeal, and Shameka Brazeal, Mobile, AL; five loving and devoted grandchildren, Wesley, Wynter, William, Wynston, Ivyana, Mobile, AL; five brothers, Rev. John Wesley (Geri) Brazeal, Jr., Chicago, IL, Ronald (Cynthia) Brazeal, Sr., Reginald Brazeal, Jimmy Brazeal, and John Fitzgerald Brazeal, all of Mobile, AL; devoted nieces and nephews; LaKeisha, Kembra, LaZandra, Cherron, Sherron, Erroll, Ronald, Jr., Jamel, Tierney, Tiera, Marco, Jonah, Bredan, Timothy, Troy, Jasmine, Fitzgerald, Jr., Chris, Mesha and Janie; godbrother, Theron (Carmen) Florence; godsisters, Felicia (Brent) Poellnitz, Andrea Hudson, Mobile, AL; life-long friends, Angelita (Darryl) Hickman, Jenesta White Pettway; Zella Cowan, Melissa (James) Knox, Mobile, AL; best friends, Pinkey Stone, Juanita Davis, Proteone Samuels, Veronica Foster, Sandra Lang Nelson; devoted coworker, Leterria Whitfield, and a host of great-nieces, great-nephews, other relatives and friends. Rest in peace, dear Pam. Your brilliance will forever echo in our hearts.
