Pamela Marie Hensley, age 66, passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones in her home on September 11th, 2024.
She was born in Maple Heights, Ohio on November 12th, 1957. Her fight and drive to survive her cancer diagnosis was unremarkable. She was predeceased by her beloved partner of 18 years: Joseph Cottingham; and her mother and father: Mary and Robert Palmer.
She is survived by her children: Allison (Michael) Stefaniuk, Jason Hensley; grandchildren: Kadence (Cameron) Cogswell, Emelyn Stefaniuk, Greyson Stefaniuk; her unborn great granddaughter: Sophia Cogswell; her brother: Robert Jr. (Ava) Palmer, Steve (Dotti) Palmer; her sister: Debra (Rick) Palmer, and nieces and nephews.
Pam relocated to Myrtle Beach in June 2024 from South Bend, IN to live closer to her family. Pam enjoyed shopping and traveling with her kids and grand kids. She loved her three cats (Oscar, Zinc, and Pumpkin) and was the queen of decorating for every occasion.
She worked full time as long as she could and truly enjoyed her work as a billing director in healthcare. She adored all of her co-workers and was such a positive light in everyone's day. She treated everyone as family and always took care of everyone with so much love. She will be dearly missed.
Please join us for a celebration of life on Saturday, September 21st from 11-2pm at St. Patrick's Park, 50651 Laurel Rd, South Bend, IN 46637, in the Berta shelter. Feel free to stop by anytime. We would love to have you join us whenever it is convenient for you.
In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the American Cancer Society.
