A memorial service celebrating the life of Pamela Howard Hodges, 72, of Monroe, La, will be held at 2 pm on Sunday, September 21, 2025, at Haile Church of Christ in Haile, La., officiated by her nephew, Bart Miller, and her cousin, John Howard.

Pam was born on June 14, 1953, at St. Francis Medical Center in Monroe, La where she also passed away after a lengthy illness on Saturday, September 13, 2025, surrounded by her family. She was a graduate of Farmerville High School in Farmerville, La. Pam worked at 7-Eleven Corporation in West Monroe, La for several years before later, becoming co-owner of Village Grocery in Grayson, La.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Kelton and Geraldine (Jerry) Aulds Howard; and her great niece, Alexis Weakley.

Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Kellye Bergeron and Gabe Smith; grandchildren, Addison and Grady Bergeron; sisters, Karen Stephens (Brent) and Suzanne Calk (Mark); nieces, Tara Neathery (Clay) and Misti Weakley; nephew, Bart Miller (LaSha), and numerous great nieces nephews; and great-great nieces and nephews, along with family members and friends.

Pam's absence leaves a void in the lives of all those who loved her, but her legacy of love and laughter will live on. She was the true definition of kindness, strength, and beauty. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Haile Church of Christ, (P.O. Box 7, Marion, La 71260) or International Gospel Hour, (P.O. Box 118, Fayetteville, TN 37334), which was started by her Uncle V.E. Howard.
