In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Richard Anthony Massey.
Survivors include her step-children, Brian Higgins (Kendra) of Bremen, and Eddie Higgins of Marietta; a number of aunts, uncles, and cousins; and numerous grandchildren.
She loved her animals, dogs, cats and chickens that she called her "Bama Babies".
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 19, 2025 from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm at the funeral home.
Services will be conducted on Tuesday, August 19, 2025 at 2:00 pm from the Chapel of Hightower Funeral Home with Brother David Post officiating. Dean Bennett, Eddie Higgins, Justin Fontenot, Brian Higgins and Justin Dover will serve as pallbearers.
Interment will follow at Sunrise Memorial Gardens.
