Pamela "Pam" D. Koons of Wister, Oklahoma, was born on January 27,1947 in Boston, Massachusetts to Francis "Frank" G. and Miriam (Rines) Daley and passed away July 26, 2025, at her home in Wister, Oklahoma at the age of 78.

She is survived by her two sons, Shannon Koons and his wife Shellie, James Koons and his wife Joanna; her three grandchildren, Avery Koons, Abby Koons, and Jordan Price; her sister, Margaret (Karen) Daley; Numerous other loved ones and a multitude of friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Miriam Daley; her husband, James E. Koons, Jr.; a son, Joseph Michael Koons; a brother, Christopher Daley.

Pam, a cherished longtime resident of Silver City, whom had recently moved to Oklahoma, dedicated her life to her family and home. She was an active member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Poteau, OK. Pam took great joy in the company of her loved ones, embodying the roles of a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. Her warm spirit and kindness will be profoundly missed by all who knew her.

A memorial Mass will be held on Friday, August 29, 2025 at 11:00am at the St. Francis Newman Center (Silver City, NM) with Father Casmir Anozie officiating. She will be laid to rest with her husband and son at Pinos Altos Cemetery, following the Mass.
