Pamela Kaye Johnson Oxendine, age 52, of Archdale, North Carolina, passed peacefully at home on October 29, 2025, while under Hospice care with loved ones by her side. She was born on November 17, 1972, in Lynchburg, Virginia, to the late Lowell Henry Johnson and Mary Alice Seamster Johnson.

Family meant everything to Pam, and she loved wholeheartedly. She affectionately named the love of her life, Christopher (Chris) Oxendine, her "Caramel Drizzle". They found each other fifteen years ago, and never looked back. Together, Pam and Chris, were blessed with a beautiful, blended family of 3 children, Amber Payne Herndon (Chris) of Thomasville, NC, Kaleb and Zackary Oxendine of Sophia, NC, 3 grandchildren, Maddox, Lennox, and Jaxson Herndon of Thomasville, NC and another grandson on the way. She is also survived by her siblings Vickie Carter (Johnny) of Lynchburg, VA and Kim Camargo (Manuel) of Gladys, VA.

In addition, she is survived by her parents-in-law, Jerry and Joyce Oxendine of Sophia, NC, her

siblings-in-law, Shelley Blackburn (Gary) of Thomasville, NC, and Cassandra Spaulding (Larry) of Trinity, NC. She was preceded in death by her brother, James Timothy Johnson, sister-in-law, Angie Rene's Oxendine, and nephew, Manuel Camargo Jr. She was surrounded by a host of nieces and nephews whom she adored.

Pam had a giving heart and was willing to help anyone in need by not only opening her home to different gatherings throughout the year, but simply being willing to do whatever was needed to help people. She truly embodied the phrase, "It is better to give than to receive." She will forever be remembered for her beautiful smile, laughter, and unconditional love.

She had an ability to make all things beautiful with her creative vision and talent. She particularly loved fall, but was ready to decorate for Christmas on November 1st with multiple trees and decor. Pam will forever be known as the "Queen of Glitter".

She was employed by LT Apparel in her later years, following many dedicated years of service at

Thomas Built Buses, Tommy's BBQ, and others where she formed many lasting friendships. She lived her life by taking an "all or nothing" approach, either committing fully to a task or not doing it at all.

Pam's legacy of unwavering generosity, and compassion will live on in the countless lives she touched. Her faith, and the love and support of family and friends was the cornerstone of her life in her final days. Most of all she loved being a Wife, Mom, being called Mammy and Mammy-Doll.

The family will begin receiving friends at 4 p.m. at Cumby's Funeral Home in Archdale, NC on Saturday, November 8th.

A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, November 10th at Guilford Memorial Park.

Condolences may be made through www.cumbyfuneral.com.
