August 8, 1967 - May 20, 2025
Pamela A. Purdy, age 57, of Colfax, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully at her home in the Township of Tainter on Tuesday, May 20, 2025. She was surrounded by the love and comfort of her mother, Sandra Purdy, a dear friend, Annie and other close friends, during her final moments.
Born on August 22, 1967, in Cedarburg, Wisconsin, Pam was the cherished daughter of David and Sandra (Whitmore) Purdy. She grew up in Cedarburg and graduated from Cedarburg High School in 1985. Pam pursued her passion for design by earning a degree in Interior Design from the University of Wisconsin-Stout. She began her professional journey at Classics in Eau Claire, where she honed her skills and made lasting connections.
Pam's warmth, creativity, and dedication left a lasting impact on all who knew her. She is survived by her loving mother, Sandra Purdy of Cedarburg; her brother, Ken Purdy and wife Bridget Purdy of Marietta, Georgia; her niece, Chloe Purdy; several aunts, uncles, cousins, and many dear friends. Pam is also survived by the children and grandchildren of her loving partner of 25 years, Randy Giertz: Cory and wife Molly Giertz and Amy and husband Scott Gilberts.
She was preceded in death by her father, David Purdy, and her partner, Randy Giertz.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, from 1:00 to 3:00 PM at Rhiel Funeral Home in Menomonie. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Menomonie.
