Pamela R. Rentz, born on May 20, 1957, in Jackson County, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on November 15, 2025, in Kettering, Ohio. She was a remarkable woman known for her giving and compassionate spirit, always putting her family at the forefront of her life.

Pamela was the loving wife of Monte Rentz for 13 wonderful years. Together, they built a life filled with love and support that touched all who knew them. She is survived by her devoted sons, Brian (Missy) Moore and Randall Moore, as well as her step-sons, Adam (Angie) Rentz and Matthew (Heather) Rentz. Pamela found immense joy in being a grandmother to her eleven grandchildren—Tyler Moore, Austin Rentz, Addison Rentz, Keaton Rentz, Christian Rentz, Danica Rentz, Lucas Rentz, Haileigh Newton, Kylee Hughes, Ashton Coates, and Brynlee Coates—as well as her cherished great-grandchildren, Zoey Moore, Carson Moore, and Parker Moore. Additionally, she leaves behind her beloved sister, Teresa Baker, and numerous extended family members and friends who held a special place in her heart.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Cola and Loretta (Little) Banks, her brother, Cola Banks, Jr., and her sister, Candy Howard. Their love and guidance will continue to resonate within the hearts of those she leaves behind.

Throughout her life, Pamela was dedicated to her community and volunteered extensively, particularly in support of veteran services. Her generosity knew no bounds; she gave much of herself to help others, embodying the true essence of compassion. Her hobbies included cooking, gardening—especially vegetable gardening—and caring for her grandchildren, activities that brought her great happiness and fulfillment. In her free time, she also enjoyed bartending, where her warm demeanor and love for people shone through.

Pamela's proudest accomplishment was her role as a devoted grandmother, where she created lasting memories and nurtured strong bonds with her grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 20, 2025 at 12:00PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, Kettering. Family and friends may visit from 11:00AM until the time of service. Pamela will be laid to rest at Willow View Cemetery. A Celebration Life will immediately follow the graveside service at the AMVETS Dayton Post 24.

Pamela R. Rentz will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered for her compassionate nature, her unwavering strength, and the joy she brought to her family and community. She leaves a legacy of love that will continue to inspire those fortunate enough to have known her.
