Newcomer Cremations, Funerals, & Receptions - Kettering ChapelGail L. Davidson, born on September 26, 1949, in Piqua, Ohio, passed away peacefully on November 13, 2025, at Hospice of Dayton. She was a loving and compassionate individual whose dedication to her family and her work left a lasting impact on those who knew her.
Throughout her career, Gail devoted many years working as a Pharmacy Technician, where her selflessness and attention to detail were evident. After a fulfilling career, she embraced retirement, cherishing her time with family, which was instrumental in her life.
Grandchildren were the light of her life. She cherished picking up Blake after school and attending Melina’s sporting events, always cheering her on with enthusiasm. She also proudly supported her son, Jeff, as he coached basketball. Gail was a huge fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes, where her daughter, Lori, graduated college.
In her leisure time, Gail found joy in watching her favorite television series, Law and Order. Her loving and nurturing spirit endeared her to friends and family alike, leaving an unwavering sense of genuine kindness.
Gail was a proud mother to her children, Lori (Troy Daul) Grover and Jeff (Tina) Davidson; a devoted grandmother to her beloved grandchildren, Blake Grover and Melina Davidson; siblings, Sheri Hunter, Craig (Linda) Treon, and Tom (Crissy) Treon; nieces and nephews; and numerous extended family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Myrna (Starr) Treon and a sister-in-law, Vickie Treon.
A Celebration of Life will be held on December 21, 2025, from 5:00PM to 8:00PM at the Leiber Center in Brookville, Ohio. All who knew her are welcomed to join in remembering and celebrating the wonderful person she was. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made out to Hospice of Dayton who provided extraordinary care to Gail.
