Pamela A. Salvo (73) passed away peacefully on 4-16-2023 at Bella Terra Rehabilitation Center
in Streamwood, Illinois.
She was born on April 5, 1950 in Chicago, the second child of her parents, the late Harold and Leda Layden of Rolling Meadows. She is preceded in death by her husband Raymond Salvo, her brothers Michael (Diane) and Gary (Suzanne) Layden and sisters Susan (the late Earl) Comfort and Catherine (Dan) Golden. She is Aunt to Gregory Layden, Jessica Brooks, Jason and Neil Comfort, Timothy Layden, Andrea Golden and Melissa Dean. She is great Aunt to Xavier and Xander Layden, Wesley, Linus and Athena Brooks, and Wren
Dean.
Pam grew up in Rolling Meadows and lived most of her life in Sunrise, Florida with her husband.
She worked at American Express in card services for many years. She loved to cook, read and
listen to music. Pam enjoyed visiting family, getting together with friends, traveling around
Florida, Disney World and going on cruises in the Caribbean.
She will be interred in a private ceremony.
