Pamela D. Schubert, 65, of Troy, Missouri, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, Nov. 12, 2025 at her residence. She was the fourth child born to James and Gloria Nay (Goodwin) on Jan. 21, 1960 in Steubenville, Ohio. She was raised in Paris, PA alongside her four siblings, and graduated from Burgettstown High School in 1978.

Pamela met her future husband, David Schubert in 1976 and they were married on October 17, 1981 in Wheeling, West Virginia. while attending a friend's wedding. The couple had a short courtship and were joined in Holy Matrimony on Oct. 17, 1981 in Wheeling, West Virginia. They later relocated to St. Louis in 1983 for her David's job and the family made their home in Breckenridge Hills.

The couple was blessed with four children: Jessica, Jennifer, Michael and Timothy. In 2001, the family moved to Troy, MO (Lincoln County). That same year, Pamela graduated from Sanford Brown College and became a registered medical assistant.

Music and creativity were constant threads in Pamela's life. She was always singing and especially loved being part of the worship team and choir. Within the family, she was known for her Thanksgiving cashew stuffing and for cheering loudly and proudly as a band, art, and Navy mom. Pamela developed a joy for many hobbies over the years, including learning calligraphy, floral design and cake decorating. Above all, she loved her family deeply and cherished each and everyone of them.

She is survived by her devoted husband, David Schubert; her four children, Jessica and Nicholas Western,Jennifer and Howard Monzyk III, Michael and Cherriza Schubert, and Timothy Schubert; her loving grandchildren: Mhyze, Finn and Jackson; and family friend Erika Brown. She is further survived by her two sisters: Leslie Nay and Lynda Wigington, along with other relatives and friends.

Pamela was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Kevin Nay and sister, Debbie Hodor.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Humane Society of Missouri, c/o McCoy-Blossom Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1304 Boone St., Troy, MO 6339 (1636)529-8244.
