Pamela Kay Stafford, 67, of Finley, Tennessee died on Thursday, April 10, 2025, in Dyersburg, Tennessee.
Born Monday, October 14, 1957, she was the daughter of the late Stoy Alford and the late Josephine Leggett Alford.
Pamela lived a life full of care, love, and devotion to her family and those around her.
She began her career as a Certified Nurse Assistant, a role that reflected her deep compassion and nurturing spirit. She later embraced the role of homemaker - a chapter in her life that she truly cherished - devoting herself fully to her loved ones and the comfort of her home. In her later years, she continued to care for others as a sitter, offering companionship and kindness to those in need.
Pamela's love for her family was the center of her world. She found joy in the simple, meaningful moments shared with her children, grandchildren, and extended family. Her kitchen was often filled with the comforting aromas of her home-cooked meals, and she was especially known for her famous carrot cake - a recipe that brought people together and will be fondly remembered.
She enjoyed the outdoors, she found her greatest joy with a fishing rod in hand and the sun on her face. Whether casting from the dock or in a boat at dawn, she was in her element near the water. Friends and family will fondly remember the stories she told, the patience she showed, and the excitement she felt with every catch.
But her talents didn't end at the shoreline-she had a green thumb that could coax life from the most stubborn soil. Flowers bloomed, vegetables thrived, and even the most temperamental houseplants flourished under her care. It's said she inherited this gift from her mother, and she carried that legacy proudly and lovingly.
Pamela was a member of Harvest Baptist Church.
She will be remembered for her quiet strength, her warm spirit, and the way she brought beauty and peace into the world around her, leaving a legacy of love and care that will live on in the hearts of those she loved.
