Pamela Kay Swift (Short), 61, of Concord, NC passed away unexpectedly July the 4th 2025.
Pamela was born April 6th 1964, in East St. Louis, IL, the daughter of the late Lowell "Wane" and Virginia "Geny" (Canada) Short.
Pamela had several jobs throughout her life: working customer service, a clerk at Little Buck convenience store for many years, The last few years she provided in home health care to dear Ms. Barbara but nothing topped being a grandmother. She loved her family beyond measure. Pam shared a special bond with her youngest granddaughter enjoyed reading and singing with her everyday and playing dress up. Pam was always on the move. She loved to travel and visit family and friends across the United States. She will be remembered for the love of her family and all the special times they shared together.
Pamela is survived by her 4 children: Gary(Jessica) Drennan of Indian Trail, NC. Jessica(Billy) Walker of Granite City, IL; Lisa Drennan of Concord, NC and James Drennan of Lucerne, CA; 6-grandchildren Kilee, Gavin, Cadence, Kayla, Wyatt and Summer; 2-great grandchildren; 2-brothers, Michael(Kathleen)
Short of New Douglas, IL and Brian(Jamie) Short of Pacific, MO; 3 nephews, 2 nieces and many other close family and friends.
Memorial services will be held at a later date.
