Funeral services for Pamela Ruth Oliphant Tweddle, age 75, of Delhi, Louisiana will be 2:00 PM, Saturday, April 26, 2025, at Cox Funeral Home with Rev. Jason Middleton officiating. Interment will be in the Epps Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Cox Funeral Home.
Visitation will be Saturday from 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM at Cox Funeral Home.
Pamela Ruth Oliphant Tweddle was born on January 8, 1950 in Delhi, Louisiana. She passed away at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was a lifelong member of Little Creek Baptist Church where she served as the church's pianist from the age of 10. She loved playing hymns and fellowshipping with everyone. She had a love of sewing, crocheting, cooking, her flowers and would often make gifts from everything she made. She was very kind hearted and generous. She greatly loved her Guaranty Bank work family. She considered many of her co-workers as her extra children and she often made all of their favorite treats and goodies.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Myra Oliphant.
Pamela is survived by her husband of 56 years, James Tweddle. Two daughters, Shelley Redden (Moose) and Candice Ogden (Paul). Four grandchildren, Brad Hutchinson (Joni), Allison Moody (William), Andrew Redden, and Cade Redden. four great-grandchildren, Chase Hutchinson, Waylon Hutchinson, Ryan Hutchinson, and Elizabeth Moody.
Pallbearers will be Roger Williams, Chris Jones, Brant Mathieu, Matt Philley, Barrett Kitchens, Ben McKinney.
The family would like to thank Guaranty Bank, T'Era and all the nurses from Elara Caring Hospice, Dr. Cory Albritton, Jamie Bullock, Phillip Cash, and numerous friends and family that have come by and visted, brought food, called, text message and loved her. She will be greatly missed by all that knew her.
