Pamela Ann Utter (Daby), passed away on September 30, 2025 at the age of 94.

Born on April 12, 1931, in Appleton, MN to Myrtle Daby (Maurer) and Harold Daby.

After living in Holloway, MN until she was seven, Pam moved to Grove City, MN. As they drove into town and saw the water tower, she was very excited to know that they would have running water!

Her dad worked as the Grove City Depot Agent and Pam was able to take many exciting trips by train. She talked often about visiting family all across the US. One funny story she told was on one trip her brothers were playing keep away with one of her shoes and it accidentally went out the window of the moving train! She also told the story of losing her wallet while she was in New York City with her mom, but the person who found it was able to track her down and return it!

After graduating from Grove City High School in 1949, Pam moved to Minneapolis to attend Nurses Training at Northwestern Hospital (which would go on to merge with Abbott Hospital). Pam went on to be a very proud Registered Nurse at Abbott Northwestern Hospital where she worked until she retired in 1996. Pam's career decision was determined at a young age due the very sad passing of her beloved brother, Robert, when he was only 17 years old.

While on a training rotation for nursing school, Pam met Everett Utter in Bemidji, MN whom she married in 1954. Together, they built a beautiful home and raised a family, in Fridley, MN.

Pam was a very loving mother and extremely involved in everything her children did - from sporting events to band concerts, she was always there. Delicious meals were prepared every evening including many incredible desserts. Music was always playing in the background.

After retirement, Pam and Everett lived the true snowbird life. Wintering in Chandler, AZ and summering in Nisswa, MN.

Pam was preceded in death by her husband, Everett, and her siblings, Muriel, Richard, Robert and Lois.

She is survived by her loving children: John (Katie) Utter of Pequot Lakes, MN: Susan (Jeff) Raper of Andover, MN: Jim (Michelle) Utter of Blaine, MN: Shari (Gary) Wilson of Champlin, MN. Grandchildren: Emily, Blane, Gabrielle, Kaylynn, Jacob and Logan.
