Pamelia (Pam) Joyce Dick Crenshaw, age 81 of Longs, SC, died on July 4, 2025 in Middleburg, VA after a brief battle with brain cancer.
Pam is survived by her daughter Elizabeth Shutler (Brian) of Middleburg, VA, and her son Richard H. Streamer, Jr. (Kimberly) of Sammamish, WA; her grandchildren Christopher Shutler (Gaby), Colin Shutler, Jill Streamer, Holly Stevens (Robbie), and Scott Streamer; and her sisters Joann DiNunzio and Nadine Ovack. Pam was preceded in death by her parents, husband Benjamin Crenshaw, and sisters Christine Yohe and Clea Hoffman.
Pam was born September 11, 1943 in Dillsburg, PA to Scott A. and Pearl Ritter Dick. She was the youngest of five sisters, and grew up on a farm. She graduated from Northern High School in Dillsburg, PA and Susquehanna University. Pam worked as a business teacher and a recruiter, and volunteered her time for many organizations. She was an avid Penn State fan, having lived in State College, PA for a number of years. Pam's late-life passion was pickleball, playing a few times a week until her glioblastoma diagnosis in early April, 2025. She loved to travel, having cruised through the British Isles and southeast Asia in her last year of life.
Pam believed strongly in education and has donated her body to medical science. The family is not planning a formal memorial service.
Pam was an avid supporter of public broadcasting; in lieu of flowers, please donate to your local PBS affiliate in her memory. Alternatively, donations can be made to the Musella Foundation for Brain Tumor Research and Information.
