Pansy Cannon Obituary
*Visitation will be 2:00 - 3:00pm on Friday, September 12, 2025 at Carlisle Funeral Home with graveside service to follow at 3:00pm at Edgecombe Memorial Park.
Pansy was born in Halifax County, NC, on January 7, 1962, to the late Jesse Staton James and Sarah Helen Sears James. Pansy was devoted to her family and was known to be very loving and giving. She loved plants, hummingbirds and pets.
In addition to her parents, Pansy was preceded in death by her aunts; Hazel Bryant, Louise Dail, Mary Keel, Love Joy Sears; uncles; Stanley Winslow Sears, Glaston Sears, and a cousin, Stanley Sears, Jr.
She is survived by her loving husband, Wilbur (Bo) Cannon, Jr., aunts; Lillie Sears Nobles, Nadine Sears Thompson, sister, Shirley Faye Boykin (James), nieces; Brandee Vaughan, Renee Waters, great nieces; Jasmine Vaughan, Olivia Waters, great nephews; Jessie Vaughan, Liam Waters, special cousins; Donna Nobles, Gina Thompson, Tony Nobles, Everett Padgett Mosley, Janet Louise Sears, Debra Sears, Gary Thompson, and Melissa Nobles Shepard.
