Pao Quinn Sunhawk was born in Key West, Florida, on December 14th, 1976, to Thomas Nelson Smith and Sylvia Sage Smith. He was the second child of their five children. His sudden passing on Wednesday, October 15th has struck the hearts of all who knew him and has left a gaping hole of sadness in his place. He was adored by his parents, siblings, nieces, nephews, entire family and a multitude of friends who knew and loved him. Those who knew him best knew his passion and sense of conviction in the topics he loved to talk about. He always spoke his mind and was truthful and loyal. He was sweet and kind and hardworking and was always good with his hands and learning a new skill. He loved his dogs to the end of the earth and back and all animals for that matter. HIs big smile and laugh were full of humor and filled the air with fun. He always took pride in his health and fitness and in any task, he was doing. HIs adoring mother Sylvia Sage Smith and baby sister, Carmen Smith, greet him in the afterlife, as he begins his next journey forward. There are no words that can fully express the sorrow that is felt by his absence. He leaves behind his father Thomas Nelson Smith, sisters Salena Burch and Vedanta Sproston, brother Sonchay Smith, sister-in-law Kim O'Toole, brothers-in-law Nick Burch and Aaron Blaise. He also leaves behind his nieces and nephews, Rain Van Tassle, Gloria Purnell, Amijah Pete, Heather Sproston, Lily Sproston, Rivers Burch, J.E.R.A.L.O., Nathaniel Thompson and Jaxon Thompson. His great nieces Stormy Blosser, Meadow Judd and great nephew Hall Judd as well as many uncles, aunts, cousins and distant relatives. He lives on in the hearts and minds of all the lives he touched. A viewing of Pao Quinn Sunhawk will be held at Lewis and Glenn Funeral Home in Salida, CO on Thursday October 23rd at 1:30-4:00pm. All of his friends and loved ones are welcome.
