With deep love and heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Parish Gulabdas Shah, a devoted husband, father, and grandfather, who left us peacefully on November 2, 2025. Born in a small village in Shahada, Maharashtra, India on August 15, 1946, Parish lived a life defined by joy, purpose, and unwavering optimism.
The youngest of eleven siblings, Parish grew to become a source of guidance, wisdom, and comfort for his entire family. He was deeply respected and admired. Not because he sought attention, but because of his humble strength, compassion, and the kindness that flowed so naturally from him.
A gifted mechanical engineer, Parish possessed a brilliant mind and an endless curiosity about the world. An avid reader and lifelong learner, he was always immersed in puzzles, newspapers, books, and conversations about new ideas, innovations, and real-world events. He believed knowledge was something to be shared, and he inspired others to keep learning, keep questioning, and stay intellectually curious.
Parish was known for his radiant smile. One that could instantly brighten any room, and for his infectious enthusiasm for life. He celebrated every moment with gratitude, never once complaining, and always lifting the spirits of those around him. His presence brought warmth, laughter, and light into the lives of everyone he met.
A true problem solver, he took immense pride in helping others. Whether it was repairing a drawer a generator, or even fixing an entire dishwasher at home, he never gave up until a solution was found. His hands, his heart, and his mind worked together to make life better for those he loved.
Parish was an exceptional role model: loving, patient, hardworking, and inspiring. His family was his proudest accomplishment, and the love he gave them was limitless. He leaves behind his beloved wife, Kalpana Shah; his daughter, Amee Shah; his son-in-law, Sanjay Shah; and his adored granddaughters, Hetvi and Bhoomi, who will carry his values, his joy, and his light with them always.
Parish touched countless lives with his sincerity, intelligence, and generous spirit. His legacy of positivity, curiosity, and love will continue to guide all who knew him. He will be dearly missed, forever respected, and eternally loved.
