Rosa Rivera Obituary
Born on August 30, 1941, in Puerto Rico, Rosa was the daughter of the late Rafael Maldonado and Maria Cotto. She was a devoted wife to Cecilio Rivera, with whom she shared 52 years of marriage.
Rosa lived a full life, residing in six different states and one U.S. territory throughout her years. She earned her GED in the United States and built a distinguished career, serving for 15 years with Marriott Vacations Worldwide, where she was honored with a 10 Years of Excellence Award.
Known for her loving and nurturing spirit, Rosa was a second mother to her siblings and a cherished friend to many. A woman of faith, she was a dedicated churchgoer. In her leisure time, she found joy in gardening, sewing, and doing home improvements.
Rosa was preceded in death by her husband, Cecillio Rivera.
She is survived by her devoted husband, Cecilio Rivera; her sons, Hector Luis Galindez and Guillermo Galindez; her siblings, Ismael Maldonado, Juana Maldonado, and Haydee Maldonado; and numerous other loving family members and friends.
