George was born April 29, 1932, In Pierce, Florida to Grafton and Tacy Cayce. George served in the U.S. Army as a 2nd Lieutenant and Military Police Officer. After leaving the military George became a school teacher and taught 39 years at Lakeland Senior High School teaching Architectural Drafting.
George was married to the love of his life, Ann Cayce for 62 blessed years.
George is survived by his sons, Robert Cayce and James Cayce; his daughters, Susan Leopold and Cindy Cayce; his brother, David Cayce; his 9 grandchildren, his 5 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
There will be a Celebration of Life for George Grafton Cayce held at Graveside on Saturday, November 8, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at Lakeland Memorial Gardens.
