Benjamin Kim Bailey

Benjamin Kim Bailey was born on January 27, 1958, in Chocowinity, North Carolina and was a resident of Lakeland, Florida since 1960. He passed on October 30, 2025, in Lakeland, Florida Kim worked in the electronica field all his adult life before retiring from the Polk County School system in 2013, after nearly 25 years as an electronics technician/System designer. He had many passions which included Saltwater sport fishing, Sports car Road racing, with over 40 hours track time logged at Sebring International Speedway, Music theory study, and song arrangement for solo guitar. Kim was married for 23 years, has no children and has remained unmarried since 2003. Kim was preceded in passing by both parents, and one brother, W.S. Bailey, Jr., who passed in 1995. He is survived by two sisters, Deborah Harkness and Rosa Holdredge.
