Marcella Hall Cayce was born on August 27, 1947, in Saipan. She peacefully passed away at home on April 1, 2025, surrounded by family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert E. Hall and Etha Hall; her brother, Robert E. Hall Jr.; and her estranged husband, Arthur Ray Cayce.
Marcella graduated from Pensacola Catholic School and later moved to Panama City, where she worked in retail for over 30 years-spending more than 20 years at Kmart, followed by 10 years at Marshalls before retiring.
Known for her deep love of animals and her incredible cooking, Marcella was the heart of her family. She was a devoted mother and beloved "Granny" to many.
She is survived by her sons, Robert and David Cayce; her life partner, Sherwood Grant; granddaughters, Maria and Julia; great-grandchildren, Kaylee, Autumn, Rylan, Trenton, Cayce, and Rilee; and her great-great-grandson, Jackson.
At this time, no public services will be held. The family will gather privately to celebrate her life at a later date.
