Deborah Gabbard Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Heritage Funeral Home & Cremation Services - Panama City on Feb. 16, 2026.
Deborah Kay Renfro Gabbard, 66 of Marianna. Florida became an Angel on January 29, 2026. She was born in Richmond, Kentucky on October 1, 1959.

She attended Paint Lick and Garrard County Schools and later built her home in Cartersville, Kentucky. Debbie worked as a dental hygienist from 1992 to 2004, then went on to become a successful sales representative with Nashville Dental from 2004 to 2016.

Debbie had a love for life and the outdoors. She enjoyed traveling, hiking, and kayaking, and she found great joy in arts and crafts. She had a special place in her heart for both animals and people, and her kindness and warm spirit were returned to her by all who knew and loved her.

She is preceded in death by her father Harold Edward Renfro and her sister Patricia Jane Renfro Lake.

Those left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of 10 years, Steven Daniel Gabbard; mother, Vara Jane Meadows Renfro; siblings, Brenda Renfro Robinson (Gerald) and Linda Renfro Farmer (Wendell); nieces, Michelle Murphy (Jeff), Erin Baker (Darrell), and Sara Farmer Brewer (Corey); nephews, Jason Gastineau (Melissa) and Scott Gastineau and her two loving pets, Sissy and Oakley. She is also remembered by many cousins, extended family and friends.

There will be an informal gathering at Robinson Cemetery. The date and time will be announced in the coming days.

Debbie found great joy in flowers and the beauty they bring. In lieu of sending flowers, please consider planting some in her memory so her love for them can continue to grow.
