Mr. Parma Lee Skipper, age 85, husband of Mrs. Virginia Spivey Skipper, passed away Monday, September 1, 2025, with his loving family by his side. Mr. Skipper was born January 4, 1940, a son of the late Emory Lee and Getha Wallace Skipper. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Shawnee in Shawnee, Kansas and was predeceased by one daughter: Tanja Rene' Skipper; four brothers: Richard, Joe, Bill and Sammy Skipper; and two sisters: Grace Johnson and Christine Lewis. In addition to his wife of the home, Mr. Parma Lee is survived by one daughter: Lisa Skipper White and her husband Jason of Shawnee, Kansas; four grandchildren: Caleb White, Joshua White (Cheyenne), Jordan White (Kynlee) and McKenzie White Everitt (Matthew); one great grandchild: C.J. White; one brother: Payne Skipper; and two sisters: Mary Partlow and Wanda Jenerrette. Visitation for Mr. Parma Lee will be held Friday, September 5, 2025, from 2:00-2:45 PM at Pisgah Global Methodist Church. Funeral services will follow beginning at 3:00 PM in the church sanctuary and burial will take place in the church cemetery. Funeral services will be livestreamed at www.johnsonfuneralhomeaynor.com, where you can also sign an online guestbook.
