Pat Bergin, age 77, of Bailey, MS, passed away Saturday, October 12, 2024, at his home.
Pat was a long time employee of Cox Enterprises - Manheim Auto Auctions in Hattiesburg, MS until his retirement. He was also a veteran of the U.S. Navy.
He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Kathy Bergin, children; Stephen Bergin (Erin) and Katie Bergin, grandchildren; Benjamin, Charan, Samuel, and Abigail, sister; Dory Nelson, beloved aunt, Jewel Pittman of Zachary, LA, special nieces; Candace Everse (Nick) and Kelley Morlan (Bruce) of Las Vegas, NV, special friends; Jerry Stennett, Elaine Cunningham, Douglas Davis and Dewayne Davis, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father Horace Patrick Bergin, his mother Evelyn Cook Surginer, stepfather, George "Pop" S. Surginer, and brother, Dan Bergin.
The family request memorial donations be made to the American Heart Association.
