Patricia Ann Cunningham, 75, passed away on October 05, 2025 at Great Plains Health in North Platte, NE.
Patricia was born on July 8, 1950, in Gothenburg, NE to parents Kenneth and Beverly (Harvey) Earll.
Patricia attended school at District 16 between Cozad and Lex from early grade school and south 17 district for a couple years. The family moved to MN for about a year and then moved to Gothenburg when she was in 8th grade where she graduated from Gothenburg High School 1968.
On June 27, 1970 she married Charles Cunningham, at Cozad, NE to this union one son was born on June 6, 1971.
From and early age she worked in cafes as a waitress and then in December of 1969 she went to work at Monroe Auto Parts where she worked until April 9, 2011. She was diagnosed with cancer in 1972. Which she was a cancer survivor for over 50 years. She returned to the work force for Stone Hearth in 2019 and loved her time there until July 2025 when the fight with a different form of cancer weakened her too much to return.
Patricia enjoyed many different hobbies which included, drawing, writing poetry, crocheting, playing cards with her mother, reading, gardening, playing games on her phone and i-pad, watching TV, movies, going to casinos, and she collected unicorns and everything Elvis Presley, eating out, she loved spending time with her great-grandkids, and most of all she loved her Lord Jesus.
Preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth and Beverly, her sister, Roxie Schescke, and her nephew, Roger Earll, Jr.
Patricia is survived by her son, Charles (Jody) Cunningham, of Gothenburg, NE, brother, Roger Earll Sr, (Kathy) of Gothenburg, NE; brother-in-law Tim Schescke of Washington, grandson, Adam (Mallory Burwell), Schumacher of Kearney, NE; granddaughter, Jenny (Luke) Poore and their children, Finley, Stetson, Luxton, many nephews and nieces.
Visitation will be held, Thursday, October 9, 2025 at 1:00-7:00 PM at Blase-Strauser Memorial Chapel, Gothenburg, NE with the family present from 4:00-6:00 PM.
Funeral service will be held Friday, October 10, 2025, 10:30 AM at Cornerstone Bible Church in Gothenburg, NE, with Pastor Scott Newman officiating.
Burial will follow at Gothenburg Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to Chemo Comfort Totes.
