Pat Shelby

was born in Savannah, Tennessee on September 17, 1956, the daughter of the late Willie Ray and Marie Gean Irvin.

On June 10, 1977 she was united in marriage to James Oliver Shelby, who survives.

Pat worked as a florist and was a member of the Savannah Church of Christ.  In her spare time she loved planting flowers, knitting, crocheting, cross stitching, and she would spend many hours reading books. Every year Pat always had hummingbird feeders out.  Her greatest joy was spending time with her family and she adored her grandchildren, Kaile, Gavin and Ellis.  Pat also loved her granddogs, Oakley and Abigail, even though Abigail became hers and went everywhere she did.

She departed this life on Tuesday, April 23, 2024 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age 67 years, 7 months, and 6 days.

In addition to her husband of 46 years, Jim of Savannah, Tennessee, Pat is survived by her children, Kendra Perry and her husband Gene of Savannah, Tennessee, and Tim Shelby and his wife Katie of Springfield, Tennessee; grandchildren, Kaile Perry of Savannah, Tennessee, Gavin Perry of Savannah, Tennessee, and Ellis Shelby of Springfield, Tennessee; and her sisters, Jan Moore of Pickwick, Tennessee and Glenda Phillips of Savannah, Tennessee.
