Patria Ayala, age 88, passed peacefully unto the Lord on Tuesday, August 12, 2025, at 5:36 a.m., embraced in love and prayer by her family.
While we are deeply saddened by her passing, we find comfort in knowing she is now reunited with her beloved husband of 70 years, Victor Ayala Sr., in eternal peace.
She is survived by their five beloved children - four sons, Victor Ayala Jr., Reinaldo Ayala, Edward Ayala, and Anthony Ayala - and one daughter, Dalia Ayala Hoffman. She also leaves behind numerous cherished grandchildren, all of whom were a source of great joy and pride in her life.
A devoted mother, grandmother, and pillar of the community, Patria was well known for her giving nature and generous spirit. She touched countless lives through her kindness, compassion, and unwavering willingness to help others. She was the proud founder and operator of Paradise Nursery, a premier flower shop that brought beauty and color to the community for many years.
Patria's love for her family was boundless, and her presence will be profoundly missed. She leaves behind a legacy of love, generosity, and faith that will continue to inspire those who knew her.
Services:
A viewing will be held on Thursday, August 21, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Fares Funeral Chapel, followed by funeral services. A second viewing will take place on Friday, August 22, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., with burial at 11:00 a.m. at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
