It is with heavy hearts that we share that Patricia Susan Andrews-Martinez, also known during her high school years as Patricia Lobato passed away on August 30th, 2025 surrounded by her family.
Born on November 3rd, 1945, in Wisconsin, Patricia, who was known and adored by many, may have been Patty, Pat, Sis, Mama P, Mom, Grandma, Great-Grandma or Grannie to you. However you knew her, she was cherished by all. She wore many hats throughout her life: a loving wife, a nurturing mother, sister, Office Manager and a friend..and a guiding light to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Above all, she was a strong, independent woman who paved the way for her family and friends, showing through example what resilience, determination, and love truly mean.
For over 30 years, Patricia worked as an office manager at a prestigious law firm in the Bay Area. She was admired for her dedication and professionalism, but even more so for her warmth and radiating positive attitude. She was often the voice of reason, a rock to so many, and her friends and colleagues remember her for not only her unwavering support but also her infectious personality, kind heart, and her ability to be the life of every gathering; a spirit that will live on forever.
Patricia was as sassy and full of life. She could talk to anyone and everyone. She had a love for boxing and was a passionate fan of Alfonzo Gomez, cheering with unmatched enthusiasm, while traveling with him and his family to matches across the country once she retired. She was a member of the Lutheran Brotherhood, finding strength and community in her spirituality and faith. Patricia embraced life with an adventurous spirit, finding joy in laughter, good food, music, a good book, and meaningful conversation. She believed in living fully, celebrating often, and creating memories that her loved ones will forever treasure.
Even in her final days, Patricia's light shone brightly. Surrounded by cozy Christmas decorations, listening to Uptown Funk, Purple Rain, and her favorite holiday music, she kept her humor, her positivity, and her unwavering strength until the very end.
Patricia Susan Andrews-Martinez (Patricia Susan Lobato) is survived by her daughter Julie Lester, granddaughter Emily Cruickshank, grandsons Robert Cruickshank and Michael Andrews, and her beloved great-grandchildren Henrik, Liv, Eve, Lily, Penny, and Landon. She will also be deeply missed by her siblings, extended family, and countless friends whose lives she touched with her love and strength.
Patricia leaves behind a legacy of courage, laughter, and adventure. Forever sassy, forever loved, her spirit, as free and endless as the ocean she cherished, will live on in all of us.
