Patricia Baldwin Obituary
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our mother, Patricia Ann Baldwin, age 83, of Rice VA, who passed away on Wednesday, August 27, 2025.
She was a proud US Navy Veteran, and dedicated VFW Auxiliary member of Thomas Hardy Graham VFW Post 7059 in Farmville. She served the Ladies Auxiliary at the local and State levels, including serving as President, Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Ladies Auxiliary, Department of Virginia in 2002-2003.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years Joe Baldwin and her son Andy Baldwin.
She leaves behind her sister, Kathy (Karl) Kilian of Whitesburg, Tennessee; children Richard (Trish) Baldwin of Farmville, Kay Woosley of Virginia Beach, Tracy (Mark) Stephens of Farmville, Troy (Anne) Baldwin of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, Kim (Ted) Davis of Bulls Gap, Tennessee, Lee Kirk of Houston, Texas, and Pam Hite of Lansing, Michigan.
She is also survived by grandchildren Annick, Stephen, and Preston Baldwin, Jamie and Jonathan Woosley, Kelly Snell, Max Baldwin, Bradley and Kyle Davis, Lionel, Dominic and Kyrann Hite and a host of great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to VFW Women's Axillary, 7059 .
Family will receive friends at Shorter Funeral Home in Farmville on Tuesday, September 2, from 5-7 pm.
Burial will be on Wednesday, September 3, at 2:00PM in Amelia Virginia Veterans Cemetery at Amelia.
