Patricia Mary Bardon, age 86, of Marietta, GA passed Friday, June 13, 2025. Patricia was born August 21, 1938, in Saranac Lake, NY to Wesley and Margaret (Abare) McClatchie.
On July 11, 1959, Patricia married Michael J. Bardon, Jr. in Westport, NY. Throughout their 65 year marriage they were blessed with five children, Gwen Bardon of Rhinebeck, NY, Shari (Thomas) Harris of Acworth, GA, Michael (Julie) Bardon, III of Andale, KS, Karen Bardon and Jonathan Bardon both of Marietta, GA; five grandchildren, Kaitlin (Brett) Wilson, Kristin (Michael) Pereira, Joseph Targia & Becky Frantz, Justin (Alice) Targia, and Nathan Bardon; and four great-grandchildren Eli, Austin, Ensley and Bali.
Patricia was a lifelong member of the Catholic church working as director of religious education and church accountant when living in Peru, NY. She was a skilled seamstress and a member of the Cobb County Quilting Guild. Through her creativity and artistic abilities, she volunteered at schools teaching art and donated handmade items to those in need as well as gifting them to her many loved ones.
Funeral services will take place at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 87 Lacy Street NW, Marietta, GA 30060 on Wednesday, June 18, 2025. The family will receive visitors at the church from 9:00 am until approximately 9:30 am when a Rosary will take place with the Funeral Mass following at 10:00 am.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
