Patricia Bohan Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Burr Funeral Home and Cremation Service on Jul. 18, 2024.
Patricia Jean "Patty" Bohon died while surrounded by family on Friday, June 28, 2024, at Maple Ridge Assisted Living in Willoughby, Ohio at the age of 84, after several months of declining health.
Patty graduated from Parsons High School in the class of 1958. She was one of the "Three Musketeers" with her best friends Madeline and Eloise. She worked at the Parsons Nursery, the Dorman Mill, and Parsons Footwear. Patty also served as caregiver of her mother Alice during her declining years.
Patty loved animals, especially horses. She cherished life on the farm she shared with her loving and devoted husband Earl Joseph Bohon, where they worked hard to grow flowers and food, tend to their furred and feathered family, and build their home and lives together. They would have celebrated their 62nd wedding anniversary this year on August 5th.
Patty is survived by her husband Earl Bohon of Willoughby Hills, OH; her lifelong friend Madeline Myers Weaver of Pfafftown, NC; her aunt-by-law and friend Viola Filler of Parsons, WV; her friend and cousin Joseph "Joe" Hebb of White Plains, MD; her friend and sister-in-law Doris Bohon of St. George, WV; her nieces Jennifer Lynn "Jen" Collette of Maple Heights, OH and Dawn Renee Collette Skomrock of Springfield, OH; her nephew Jason Steven Collette of Chardon, OH; her niece-in-law Patty Collette of Mayfield Heights, OH; her "chosen" daughter Jolean Renee Haught of Willoughby Hills, OH; her "chosen" son-in-law John Andrew "Jay" Kisner of Willoughby Hills, OH; numerous close friends from her church family at the Parsons Seventh-Day Adventist Church; and numerous close friends and neighbors from Location Road, WV.
Patty was an excellent cook and baker, and she loved a wide variety of music and musicians, such as The Canadian Tenors, Celtic Women, Bob Marley, and numerous Country and "Oldies" Pop hits. She had a strong sense of humor and a stronger will, at which all who knew her marveled. Patty will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all her family and friends.
The family wishes to thank the good people of Maple Ridge Assisted Living in Willoughby, OH and Traditions Health Hospice of Highland Heights, OH for all the care, kindness, and support they provided.
