Patricia A. (Herron) Bolstad of Holbrook, formerly of South Boston, passed away on February 3, 2025. Beloved wife of the late Francis (Frank) Bolstad. Devoted mother of Donald Bolstad and his partner Kathy, Frank Bolstad and his wife Nancy, Patty Vasile and her husband Wally, Michelle Bolstad and her husband Kevin Martineau, Dennis Bolstad, Kristine Boudreau and her husband John. Cherished sister of Frances "Lucky" Devlin and the late Judy Leary, Muriel Farland, Bobby, Rusty and Yarko Herron. Also survived by 12 grandchildren, Frank Bolstad, Christopher Bolstad, Kevin Nee, Jamie Bolstad, Brian Vasile, Kayla Bolstad, Sean Bolstad, Katilyn Meehan, Amanda Bolstad, Michael Bolstad, Maggie Bolstad and Molly Archer. 2 great granddaughters Lilyana and Emilee and soon to be great grandson baby Meehan and many nieces, nephews, in-laws and longtime friends. Bitsy loved spending time at the beach and Castle Island but her favorite was spending time with her kids, grandkids and friends at her favorite place, "the backyard" she loved having everyone hanging on the deck and laughing and having fun lounging in the pool, while she enjoyed her Dunks and cigarettes. You could find her any time of the day or night watching her favorite shows "Blue Bloods and Soul Surfer".
Visitation in the O'Brien Funeral Home 146 Dorchester St. South Boston on Friday February 7th from 4-7pm. Funeral Mass in St. Brigid Church 841 East Broadway South Boston on Saturday February 8th at 10am. Relatives and friends are kindly to attend.
Interment Cedar Grove Cemetery Dorchester. In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Mrs. Bolstad may be made to St. Brigid Church 841 East Broadway South Boston, MA 02127. Or St. Jude's Hospital. For directions and guest book please visit www.obrienfunerals.com
