Patricia Briggs passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 12, 2025, at Essentia Health in Fosston, Minnesota.

A celebration of life will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, August 22, 2025 at Johnson Funeral Service in Thief River Falls, MN with Reverend Kristin Ostercamp officiating. A visitation will be held one hour prior. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery, Thief River Falls, MN.

Patricia Johnette Briggs was born on September 3, 1954, in Kirksville, Missouri, to John and Carolene (Walker) Bradshaw. She grew up in Adair County and attended school in Brashear, graduating from Brashear High School in 1972.

After graduation, Patricia worked at a local shoe factory before relocating to Thief River Falls, Minnesota. In Minnesota, she continued her dedicated work ethic at The Villa in Crookston and later at Arctic Cat in Thief River Falls, where she served faithfully for 19 years before retiring. Even after retirement, Patricia remained active in her community and worked at Hugo's, where she was known for her friendly demeanor and strong sense of responsibility.

Patricia found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She enjoyed crocheting, watching movies, spending time with her family, and visiting with people. Her warmth, creativity, and gentle spirit made her a joy to be around and left a lasting impression on everyone she met.

She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Heidi Bradshaw; stepfather, Joe Bauer; her stepchildren; her siblings: Marilyn Knudsen, Mike (Anita) Bradshaw, and Larry (Marlene) Bradshaw; sister-in-law, Pam Bradshaw; as well as many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews who will carry her memory in their hearts. She is also survived by numerous relatives and friends.

Patricia was preceded in death by her son, Joel Bradshaw; her husband, Eddie Briggs; her parents, John and Carolene Bradshaw; her brothers, Mark and Randy Bradshaw; and many other beloved relatives.
