Patricia Ann Butler, 78, of Oak Grove, Missouri, passed away on Friday, September 12, 2025. Visitation will be held from 5:00–7:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 18, 2025, at Royer Funeral Home in Grain Valley, Missouri. Graveside services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, September 19, 2025, at South Point Cemetery in Orrick, Missouri. A celebration of life and luncheon will follow, serving Pat's favorite Zarda BBQ, will be 1:00-3:00 p.m. at the Grain Valley Community Center, Grain Valley, Missouri. Contributions can be made to: Show Me Christian Youth Home – Lathrop, Missouri.

Patricia was born on May 3, 1947, in Sedalia, Missouri, to Woodrow Francis Craighead and Nellie Mae (Dotson) Craighead. She was the oldest of ten children and graduated from Smith-Cotton High School in 1965. On November 12, 1966, she married the love of her life, Richard Butler, and together they shared 43 years of marriage.

A woman of strong Christian faith, Patricia devoted decades of service as a preschool Sunday school teacher at Oak Grove Christian Church. She cherished her family deeply, and her warm spirit, faith, and love will continue to live on through them.

Patricia was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Richard Butler; sisters, Sandy and Teri; and her brother, John.

She is survived by her daughter, Tracy (Lynn) Wilson; her son, Richie Butler (Sara MacLean); grandchildren, Jonathan Wilson, Grace Wilson, and Jack MacLean; siblings, Woody, Sherry, Brenda, Boogie "Ron," Charlie, and Steve, along with their families; and her faithful dog, Sally.
