It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of our beloved mother, Patricia Ann Capone, affectionately known as Patty Ann or Granits. A courageous and resilient woman, Patricia was born on March 13, 1947, in Philadelphia, PA, and left us far too soon on September 11, 2024. Known for her supportive nature and loving heart, Patricia was a beacon of strength and a source of inspiration to all who had the good fortune of knowing her.
As a homemaker, Patricia dedicated her life to her family, creating a home filled with warmth, laughter, and an abundance of love. She was a selfless woman, always putting the needs of her family ahead of her own. Her greatest accomplishment, as she would often say, was having her children, who brought immense joy and pride to her life. Patricia was a supportive mother, always encouraging us to pursue our dreams and to stand tall in the face of adversity. Her resilience and courage were not just admirable, but also a testament to her strong character.
In her own time, Patricia found joy in life's simple pleasures. She had a passion for dancing and would often be the first one on the dance floor at any gathering. This love of dance was just one of the many ways Patricia expressed her zest for life. She also cherished spending time with her grandchildren, making each moment a treasured memory. Patricia was the embodiment of love and kindness, always there with a comforting word or a warm hug.
Patricia is survived by her children, Tiffany Ainsley (Jimmy Clark), Nicole Capone, Jillian Moyer, and Joseph Capone (Lauren Capone), and her grandchildren, Brittney Carrol (Dennis Carrol), Jeffrey Ainsley, Breana Capone, Haley Ainsley (Gerry Eck), Nicholas Capone (Melissa Jardel), Alyssa Moyer, Ethan Galaj, and Laila Capone. She was preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Anna Dickes, and her grandson, Hunter Galaj. Patricia also had the joy of becoming a great-grandmother to Summer Carrol.
Services and interment are private at the families request.
As we bid farewell to our beloved Patricia, we invite you to join us in celebrating her extraordinary life. Please feel free to share your cherished memories and upload photos of Patricia on her memorial page. In this way, we can keep her spirit alive and remember the love and joy she brought into our lives.
